SUGGESTIONS:
- It is highly recommended to attend any event planning meetings and
trainings to get to know the youth participants. Your attendance at the meetings also familiarizes the
youth with who you are and builds a relationship of support and respect
between the Advisor/Chaperone and the youth. Additionally, attending planning
meetings helps an Advisor/Chaperone become familiar with the activities and
program that the youth are planning, as well as to be aware of information
they have received or are handing out.
