Oklahoma Potholder
It is 35 chains.
Single crochet in the 1st stitch from the hook and in the back loop only of every stitch across and continue around the end and single crochet in the other half of each stitch back to the beginning.
Continue to single crochet in the back loop only of each stitch around and around until you are able to sew it closed with a large-eyed and blunt-pointed needle.
These are so much fun to make. I like to use all of my left-over yarn from other projects.
Ski Hat
Size G or H hook
Chain 50, turn
Row 1: Double crochet in back loop of 3rd chain from hook, double crochet in back loop of each chain across, turn.
Rows 2-30: Chain 2, double crochet in back loop of each chain across, turn.
Connecting Row: Slipstitch through back loop of last double crochet and last chain of beginning row, continue in same manner all the way across.
Gathering the top of the hat: With a double yarn and a blunt needle, go in and out of the double crochet on either end. Pull tightly. Tie in a double square knot.
Enjoy wearing your hat and having warm ears!
Waffle Weave:
Basically, all you do is Chain 144 or any even # of stitches.
Row 2: Double crochet in the 2nd chain from the hook. Double crochet in the top of each stitch across. Chain 2 and turn.
Row 3: Double crochet in the top of the second double crochet from the hook. *Double crochet in the front of the next 2 double crochet posts. Double crochet in the next 2 double crochet.* Continue between the *'s to the end. Chain 2 and turn.
Row 4 and every row until your project has the desired length: Same as Row 3.
This is so easy and so much fun. Some say that this is no-brainer (if you can count to 2).
Simple Bag:
Round 1: Chain 4, 11 double crochet in 4th chain from hook, slipstitch in top of chain 4.
Round 2: Chain 2, double crochet in same space, 2 double crochet in each double crochet of Round 1, slipstitch to top of chain 2.
Round 3:< Chain.
