ORANGE ACRES BACKBREAKERS
During some sewing meetings, we work on and some complete a single project. During this meeting, the kids took sweatshirts and customized them into works of art. Some members cut the front of the sweatshirt and added facing; others just decorated the sweatshirts. The members learned how to use fusing without gumming up the iron. Some member's sweatshirts had a Christmas theme and others had an animal theme. Before we started to cut fabric, each member had to come up with a design and a plan.
The next step after planning is to cut out the fabric. They next laid out their cut fabric in the pattern they designed.
