PHOTOGRAPHY PROJECT

ORANGE ACRES BACK BREAKERS

YEAR: 2001-2002

Teen Leaders:
Members: Candice, Crystal, Joel, Mary Rose, Nathan, Stephanie B, Stephanie J,

Meeting: Second Saturday each month at 1:00PM at the Koepke's plus additional meetings as required.

Goals: Members of the 4H photography group will acquire a basic uderstanding of camera functions, exposure, composition, and presentation.

We will be learning

• Various functions of the camera part
  • F-stop
  • Lenses
  • Focus
  • Shutter
• Proper exposure of film
• Different types of film and how each reacts with light
• Lighting techniques
• Photographers/Photographic styles
• Basics of composition
• How to matt and frame photographs for display

Hopefully by the end of the year we can begin to learn how to develop black and white film, and how to print in a darkroom.  It is highly recommended that members have a fully manual 35mm camera
