Christmas Caroling in OPA (via Horseback, Hay Wagon, Pickup...) Continued
Carolers preferring a more stable seat made the rounds by hay wagon or pickup truck. Although it's a little more difficult to get your voice heard above a 1940's tractor or a Cummins Diesel pickup.
This group of carolers made several stops along the way and were greeted by all sorts of treats - cookies, candies cakes, cider, water - just about anything. This was another really fun outing - and very filling. No doubt quite a few appetites were spoiled for dinner that evening.
Believe and Achieve Awards
On October 30, Orange County 4H recognized it's outstanding members. All Stars and TLAWs for the year were introduced. County record book winners for the year were each given an award for their exemplary performance. And Junior and Teen leaders were recognized for their extra effort. From the OABB: Nathan, Emily, Nick, Kimberly, Sarah, Stephanie, Gina, Tim, Daniel, David, Sjoen, Maitlin, and Victoria all received awards. And the OABB received recognition for it's National 4H week display.
