Countywide Projects Will Start in the Fall

Are you interested in leading or co-leading a countywide project? Helping with a countywide project?

Do you have an idea for an new countywide project?

Check back here later this summer for information on how to connect with other countywide project leaders for 2023-2024 planning.

Projects may be in-person, hybrid, or fully virtual. Project leaders may host their projects at SCREC or a location of their choice.

Participants will be contacted via email with project meeting information. For security, Zoom links and locations for meetings will NOT be made public.

NOTE: Countywide Projects are hosted by one of our Community Clubs. To enroll in a specific Countywide Project(s), add the Unit that is hosting the project as a secondary unit when you enroll. Then select the project(s) you'd like to join. The Project Leader will contact you with information about the project.

Countywide Public Speaking Project

Want to improve your public speaking skills? Feel confident in front of a crowd? Get ready for Presentation Day?

Countywide Hobbies: Card Games Project

Do you love card games? Want to learn new games? Play in tournaments against other 4-H'ers? Then this project is for you!

Cultural Arts - Japanese

Are you interested in the culture of Japan? The food? The art? The people? Then this project is for you!

Learn how to maximize your 4-H experience! Get familiar with 4-H achievement ranks, Record Books, leadership development opportunities, scholarships, and much more!

Countywide Career Exploration Project

What are your Sparks? Your personal strengths, skills, assets? Where could these lead you for your future? What careers best suit you?

Countywide Community/Participatory Science & Research Project

Do you care about the environment? Want to learn about scientific research and do actual field research with UC ANR researchers?

Countywide Community Service Project

Do you want to support the needs in your community? Then this project is for you!

Past projects supported local animal shelters, Meals on Wheels, elementary schools, etc.

Especially for our littlest members ages 5-8 years old, activities customized to engage and delight! Fun and learning!

Calling all youth leaders - develop your leadership skills and put those skills to use in your club and projects!
